You are cordially invited to INTERREGNUM, a position statement/symposium/eisteddfod/caucus marking the end of good cop bad cop’s research and development project “I or U”.

Supported by the Arts Council of Wales and hosted by Wales Millennium Centre, the project has been the first stage of a conversation between good cop bad cop (John Rowley & Richard Huw Morgan) and choreographer / performer Wendy Houstoun. Taking Rowley and Morgan’s eclectic 27 years of back catalogue as a starting point, the project has examined ways of fictionalising and contextualising their unique contribution to experimental performance in Wales, exploring methods for text and choreographic generation, vocal techniques, scenography and puppetry, with a view to producing a touring production in 2018/9

In order to progress the project we are keen to share our initial ideas with a cross section of fellow practitioners, arts professionals and selected others, to crowd source opinions and inspiration and to explore future partners and avenues for development. This is a genuinely open and honest process, we are keen to share both our past experiences and our future developments with as diverse and geographically distributed population as possible.

As part of the development process we are currently creating a time-limited web-site. This will last until 30th November and can be found here – http://www.gcbc.cymru
